The HD Fire Protect signal valves act as check valves, trapping water under pressure above the flap and preventing backflow from the sprinkler pipe. Emergency valves are designed to give an alarm signal by means of a water engine bell and/or a pressure switch when there is a constant flow of water (for example, the flow required for an open sprinkler). The signal valves HD Fire Protect are listed in UL and approved by FM. Signal valves are available with a gate consisting of a delay chamber and a water gong.
